Toys Calm has donated laptop computers, stuffed animals, air hockey tables, band-aids, baby toys, board games, books, legos, videos, video games, etc. to area hospitals such as Robert-Wood Johnson, Jersey Shore Medical, and Monmouth Medical, primarily. We've also made donations to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, Kimball Medical Center, and New York Presbyterian Hospital. Our goal is to continue providing what comfort we can to young patients and because of the respect we have for the children's privacy, we've recruited the help of child life specialists and nurses to distribute what we provide. We rarely go into a patient's room because as I remember all too well, every time the door opens, panic sweeps over you in fear that a needle or bad news is coming, and when a kind stranger comes to give a gift, often you just simply do not have the strength to pretend to be happy, no matter how grateful you are. That is why Toys Calm prefers the "No Thanks Required" policy.
